For the purpose of sharing information effectively I have divided my site into topics related to Technology, Crafts including cooking and quilting, Places I have been ranging from restaurants to hiking trails, and Blogs which are a general catch all of content both by myself and potentially others. Refocus

in

A variety of life things ebbed and flowed and now it's time to refocus.

I want to

  • get drupal working
  • document last year's quilt shows
  • develop a quick system for documenting this year's quilt shows
  • experiment with taxonomies and develop an effective one for my site
  • make quilts
  • have a life

Good luck me!

Recipe won't inspire confidence but was still very yummy

Mix 1/3 a can baked beans and frozen corn to taste in a bowl. Slice up a hot dog (hebrew national preferred) and set that on top the bean/corn mix. Microwave for about 3 minutes or until hot, stopping to stir the hot dog slices in about half way through. Top with gorgonzola cheese and enjoy.

Good friends use obscure browsers

in

I asked a few friends to look over a web site I was building recently and they came back with browser errors from safari, Camino, opera, iCab, omniweb, shiira and flock. Not all of these are obscure but it definitely touches on places I don't normally go as I do most of my work on a windows computer. Now I have to go home and download all these onto my ubuntu machine for better testing. Still, I now know that even the most obscure geek will see that site as it should be.
